Panic Relief AI is built to feel safe. This page explains, in plain words, what the app is, what it isn't, and how your information is handled.

What this is

A calm, supportive companion you can talk to when you're anxious, panicking, struggling to sleep, or just need someone in the room. It uses evidence-informed ideas from psychology, neuroscience, and behavioral medicine to respond warmly and helpfully.

What this is not

  • This is not medical care and not a replacement for a therapist or doctor.
  • It does not diagnose conditions and does not give medical instructions.
  • In a true emergency, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line right away.
If you are in immediate danger:
Call or text 988 (US crisis line) · 911 for medical emergencies. Outside the US, please use your local emergency number.

How your data is handled

  • Your account and recovery memory are tied to your sign-in and protected by row-level security.
  • Conversations are used to personalize the experience for you, not shared with other users.
  • Aggregated, anonymous signals may be used to improve safety and quality of the app — never your personal text.
  • Voice features and AI responses are processed by trusted providers solely to generate your reply.

You're in control

  • You can review and clear your Recovery Memory at any time.
  • You can export or delete your data from your Safety settings.
  • You can sign out and stop using the app any time without explanation.

Honest limits

AI is not perfect. Responses are generated and may occasionally be incomplete or imperfect. We've put multiple internal safety layers in place to keep replies calm, non-diagnostic, and non-prescriptive — but if anything ever feels wrong, please trust your own judgment and reach out to a professional or emergency service.
